Chaos Rally, created by passionate pickleball players for fellow enthusiasts, is a unique card game made to be played alongside the sport we all love!

There are 15 card varieties - some are common, some are rare!

HOW TO PLAY CHAOS RALLY PICKLEBALL CARDS

1. A deck of card is composed of 50 cards.2. Firstly, shuffle the cards. For SIDE OUT SCORING, each team gets to draw 4 up to a maximum of 8 cards. For RALLY SCORING, each team gets to draw 8 up to a maximum of 12 cards. Each team must agree on the number of the cards they wish to draw.3. A card can only be used by the server of the ball. There is 1 exception which is the BACKFIRE card.4. The server can only use 1 card per rally. This used card must be discarded at the end of that rally.5. There are currently 15 CARD VARIETIES. Each card has a designated number of pieces. There will be more cards to be released in The future!6. Each card has different effects and conditions.7. There are cards that order a team or a player to do specific things. If these are not met, the rally ends with the point for the card holder / server.8. There are cards that give immediate bonus points and advantages to the card holder.9. There are cards that can be advantageous to both the card holder and the opponent.10. There are cards that can reverse the effects of other cards, example: BACKFIRE.11. Pickleball rules apply The cards can be played both in SIDE OUT or RALLY scoring .12.There are 2 modes of playing Chaos Rally Pickleball Cards: STANDARD and HANDICAP. In Standard mode, the two teams agree that they will get the same number of cards (Example. Both teams agree they will get 6 cards each.) In Standard mode, the two teams assume that they have the same skill level. In HANDICAP mode, the two teams assume that 1 team does have higher skill level than the other. Hence, the team with the higher skill level agrees not to use the cards while the other team agrees they are the one who will be using the cards.

CARD VARIETIES

TYPES OF CARDS1. COMMAND CARDS - These cards let you issue commands that the opposing team must follow. (Examples are: Backhand Only, Use Non-Dominant Hand, No Volleys, No Drives, Baseline Only, Exchange Paddles and Remove One Player). The effects of these cards are good for 1 Rally Only.
2. BONUS POINTS CARDS - These cards give bonus points once the conditions are met. With the Plus 2 and Plus 3 cards, the winner of the rally gets the 2 and 3 Points, respectively. The Plus 1 Point card is special as this gives immediate plus point to the server.
3. TRIGGER CARD - An event needs to occur first before this card can be used. Example is the Serve Again card. You have to miss a serve first, before this card can be used.
4. REVERSAL CARD - Reverses the effect of certain cards back onto the player who played them. Example is the Backfire Card. This card is immediately activated once the opponent has used specific cards namely: BACKHAND ONLY, BASELINE ONLY, EXCHANGE PADDLES, NO VOLLEYS, NO DRIVES, REMOVE ONE PLAYER, and USE NON-DOMINANT HAND. This card cannot reflect another BACKFIRE card from the opposing team. This is the ONLY CARD that can be used by a NON-SERVER.
5. CHAOS CARDS - These add a hint of chaos to the game. Examples are the Swap Cards and Steal A Card. These two are part of the expansion deck which will be rolling out in the future.
6. PRO CARDS - These cards do not necessarily give an advantage to the user of the card. These cards are mainly to challenge yourself and your pickleball skills. An Example is the 1 VS 1 Card which transforms the doubles game into singles!* General Rules - Only the Server can use a card, except when you have the Backfire Card.
* Only 1 Card can be used per rally. Hence, you cannot use the Serve Again Card if you have already used another card in that same rally
* The cards can be played either under Side Out or Rally Scoring.
* The effects of Backhand Only, Use Non-Dominant Hand, and No Drives take effect only after the return of serve, giving the opposing team a fair chance.
